I'm the hands, heart, and heart of Let's Eat Cake Wellington. I spend my days whipping up cakey magic.

I'm the head baker, decorator, designer, admin person, delivery driver, strategic business planner, and most glamourous of all, chief washer-upper!

Yep, if you're dealing with Let's Eat Cake, you're dealing with me.

I'm most at home in my kitchen, cup of coffee by my side, singing show tunes (which my neighbours love!), with butter icing everywhere! 

When I first started baking, I used to say "I don't DO decorating... all that matters is the cake". My oldest and wisest friends still love teasing me with that one. That's clearly no longer true, but although I now also love decorating, at the heart of what I do is cake, and it's still the most important thing. After all, once you cut the pretty cake, it doesn't look pretty anymore, but it still needs to taste absolutely fantastic. 

I make cakes that I would love to eat, which is why fondant-covered cakes are a no-go... and why I don't make banana cake... sorry!! I also believe no-one should miss out on cake, so I try to accommodate as many special dietary requirements as possible.

So there you have it... little cakey me.
